5 Hours Daily Instruction and Practice of Iyengar Yoga Asana and Pranayama with Richard Schachtel, Director of The Center For Yoga of Seattle.
The Practice Intensive is for those to immerse themselves in the practice of Iyengar Yoga to learn more of the art and science of practice and to make some progress in their understanding and actual practice of asana and pranayama.
The Workshop is open to all who have some familiarity with Iyengar Yoga.
Richard gives many teacher trainings throughout the year but this course is purely on practice with some time for questions on the theory and questions about personal practice. It is not a teacher training.
Students and teachers including those of other yoga traditions are welcome who want to learn more about this highly influential method of yoga and to advance their practice of yoga.
The morning sessions will meet from 10:45am-1:45pm and will be more vigorous and deep.
The afternoon sessions meeting from 3:45pm-5:45pm will include inversions, pranayama, restoratives and some deep yet non strenuous practices.
The combination of the twice a day session is fantastic and gives the students the experience of the power of a strong yoga practice.
The Fee for the Course is $500.
Early Registration Fee is $400 good through Monday August 8.

The process is gentle, safe, and loving and almost every person will have a deep moving experience. As an added benefit, Breathwork is quite healthy for the body. You will be conscious the whole time and totally in control. Please come prepared for immediate growth and a powerful experience.
